Narrowed foreskin – A narrowed foreskin is a condition where a man is unable to pull the foreskin over the glans. As a result, the man is unable to perform complete hygiene and mycosis develops – balanitis. A common symptom is also a problem with penis erection or penis odor. The situation when a man has a problem with pulling the foreskin over the glans is called phimosis. The solution to this problem is circumcision, when part of the foreskin is removed. Yeast infections occur less frequently in men who have undergone circumcision.

Phimosis is a condition in which the foreskin of the penis is so narrowed that it cannot be pulled back over the glans at all, or only partially. The result of this condition is pain during erection of the penis, inability to maintain hygiene of the foreskin, penis odor, inability to have intercourse, problems during intercourse, an aesthetic defect that interferes with sex and partner life, repeated cracks in the skin of the penis after erection, and even the inability to urinate in advanced stages. Phimosis is also a risk factor in relation to penile cancer. In children, phimosis can also prevent normal development of the penis and inflammation of the foreskin, urinary tract and kidneys.
